Registration

Dinner Meeting Reservation Policy

If permitted, any reservation request made after 5pm on Wednesday prior to the event must be made via the web reservation form.

On-line Credit Card payment:
PMI-NEFL will accept a discounted reservation up to 5pm on Wednesday prior to the event or until the event is sold-out with an approved payment made by credit card via PMI-NEFL website. Currently PMI-NEFL accepts Visa, Mastercard and AMEX.

Mailed-in check payment:
PMI-NEFL will accept a discounted reservation request via USPS mail if received one week prior to the event.

Any reservation requested after the cutoff times as stated above may be charged a higher rate.

Web registration – 5 p.m. of Friday prior to the event
Mail - Received by 5 p.m. of Wednesday prior to the event

Event and Seminar Reservation Policy

  1. 1. Board Review -- These policies may be subject to review or revision at anytime without notice by the Board of Directors of the Northeast Florida Chapter of PMI.
  2. Changes -- The Northeast Florida Chapter of PMI reserves the right to change terms and conditions of the Chapter’s PMP Certification Review Seminar without notice; this includes prices, deadlines, dates, times, and locations.
  3. Two Bites at the Apple -- Chapter members that pay for and attend an offering of the Northeast Florida Chapter’s PMP Certification Review Seminar may register for a future such offering for free, on a space available basis. The Chapter’s VP of Education and Professional Development shall determine space availability.
  4. Scholarship -- In the event of special circumstances (e.g., being laid off from work) members of the Northeast Florida Chapter of PMI may apply for a scholarship for the Chapter’s PMP Certification Review Seminar. Application may be made through the Chapter’s VP of Education and Professional Development, who typically presents the application to the Board of Directors for a decision
  5. General -- Registrations with payment will be accepted based on earliest receipt or postmark. Registrations without payment may not be accepted
  6. Prices -- The Chapter’s VP of Education and Professional Development shall set certain prices for each offering of the Chapter’s Events and Seminars. Typically, PMI members are offered a discounted price, and non-members must pay a higher price.
  7. Deadline -- The Chapter’s VP of Education and Professional Development shall set a certain registration deadline for each Chapter Event or Seminar. The Northeast Florida Chapter of PMI may, at its sole discretion, accept late registrations after that deadline with full payment at a higher price. Registrations shall not be cancelable after the deadline; this is, in part, to protect the Chapter from the increased costs of last minute changes.
  8. Purchase Order -- The Northeast Florida Chapter of PMI prefers to receive payment by credit/debit card for the Chapter’s Events and Seminars. However, if a registrant is unable to use a card the Chapter may, at its discretion, accept payment through Company Purchase Order. The following terms and conditions are prerequisites for such acceptance. The registrant must present a manager's signature on the Company’s internal document as proof of authorization and intent to pay the Purchase Order. The Company will be invoiced upon delivery of the internal paperwork or Purchase Order. Invoice Terms: Due Upon Receipt. A finance charge of 1.5% per month will be charged to past due accounts. Subsequent to the registrant attending any part of the Chapter’s Events or Seminars, and in the event that payment in full does not result from an Invoice within three months, then the registrant acknowledges responsibility and agrees to reimburse the Chapter fully. Subsequent to such reimbursement, if the Company also pays the Invoice, then this amount shall be returned to the Company.

 

Cancellation

Online Cancellation:

PMI-NEFL will accept online cancellations, and will issue a full refund if the cancellation request was made before the cut-off time. Registrations will not be cancellable after the cut-off date; this is, in part, to protect the Chapter from the increased costs of last minute changes. Any refund requests after that time or group cancellations are at the discretion of the VP of programs and/or the Program Committee.

No shows:

No shows will be treated as attendees since the hotel does not refund the
chapter for uneaten meals, therefore the chapter cannot refund no shows.

Billing:

Credit Cards will be billed at the appropriate rate. Check and cash payments will be deposited by PMI-NEFL. If member submits their registration without payment and does not cancel within the specified time, PMI-NEFL will bill the member the appropriate rate.

These guidelines were established to facilitate event planning, while keeping in mind that members, guests and potential members must be treated fairly. Any questions regarding this policy may be addressed specifically with the Vice President of Programs

PMP Certification Review Seminar Cancellation Policy

The Northeast Florida Chapter of PMI reserves the right to cancel the PMP Certification Review Seminar and return payments if insufficient registrations are received by the cancellation date. The Chapter’s VP of Education and Professional Development shall determine this cancellation date. The cancellation date may be later than the registration deadline
