Gary R. Heerkens is a consultant, author, and regular speaker at PMI Global Congresses. He serves on the editorial board of the “Successful Project Management” newsletter and has served on the review committee for the Project Management Institute’s “A Framework for Project Management” seminar. He has published several papers on a variety of project management topics and written two books. His latest book was authored in 2006, on project management for McGraw-Hill’s Briefcase Books Series, “The Business-Savvy Project Manager: Indispensable Knowledge and Skills for Success.”
Gary is a frequent speaker at international project management conferences and is a licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in New York State. He served as President of the PMI Rochester Chapter from 1998 to 2001 and holds an MBA from the Rochester Institute of Technology.
